I know women who won't leave the house without makeup on their face and other people I know worry about their hairstyle to the point of obsession. Most people have something about their physical appearance that they fixate on or worry about. My thing is teeth. One fear I had as a child was that I would some day lose all my teeth and be forced to wear dentures. I couldn't stand the thought of not having REAL teeth. Because of that fear I have really good dental habits. I brush, floss and rinse at least three times a day and I always see my dental hygienist twice a year. When I got the opportunity to try products from TheraBreath I jumped at the chance.
The TheraBreath oral care system was developed by Dr. Harold Katz who was on a mission to help his daughter overcome a persistent problem with bad breath. With his background as a dentist Dr. Katz was the right man for the job.
I received a free bottle of TheraBreath Oral Rinse, a tube of TheraBreath toothpaste and a box of TheraBreath Mouth Wetting Lozenges to try. I have been using these products for a few weeks now and my overall opinion is a positive one.
What I really liked about the toothpaste and oral rinse is the taste -- both have a minty flavor that is very, very mild. These product give your mouth a fresh, clean feeling without the burn that is associated with other dental products. Considering the mild flavor, I was surprised at how long that feeling of freshness lasted. I was a little worried that there would be a medicinal taste to the products but that was not the case.
One difference I noticed about the toothpaste is that it produces less foam than most other toothpaste. The level of foaminess doesn't indicate cleaning power! My teeth feel nice and clean after brushing.
The mouth wetting lozenges definitely have a stronger flavor - very minty with a hint of citrus. These are great to use after meals or when you need some help with a dry mouth. The lozenges come individually wrapped so it is easy to keep a few in your purse, on the nightstand, or in a desk drawer at work.
Thanks to the nice people at TheraBreath I am giving away a tube of TheraBreath toothpaste and a bottle of TheraBreath Oral Rinse to one reader.
